Police Reports:

Motor Vehicle Crash Reports can be picked up at Police Headquarters 5 days after the date of reporting, unless informed of earlier completion by the investigating officer.

Open Public Records Act (O.P.R.A.) requests for police records must be submitted in writing on our standard request form. These forms are available in the forms link on this site and are also available at headquarters. Completed forms can be hand delivered, mailed or faxed to us for processing. Attorney’s Requests for Discovery:

Requests for discovery must be submitted in formal written form and submitted to the Police Department Detective Bureau (Attn: Discovery). Any questions can be directed to our detective bureau personnel through our main phone number at 732-775-6900.
