Special Update #3 on 319 LaReine Avenue Project Survey

Greetings Bradley Beach,

Wishing our community, a very happy summer. The heat wave finally broke a bit! Today we are again coming to you with an update on the 319 LaReine Avenue Church survey. Thank you to
all who have already participated – we are excited by the response rate for the survey so far, which has almost 800 responses. We are eager to read the results and comments once the
survey closes.

Haven’t responded yet? Please do so by July 31! You can take the survey in just a few minutes by visiting bit.ly/319LaReine on your computer, tablet, or smartphone. You can also go
on the website at https://www.bradleybeachnj.gov/home/urgent-alerts/please-participate-lareine-ave-church-survey. We’ll report out the results of the survey shortly after the results are
in. Should you need assistance responding or do not have internet access, we are prepared at our library to assist you. A special survey station with printed supplemental materials is set up for
your use at the Bradley Beach Public Library. You can take the time you need to review and respond, and also ask our excellent library staff for help.

Optimal hours for library assistance are:

● Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 10am – 12pm and 2pm – 4pm
● Tuesday, Thursday: 10am – 12pm, 2pm – 4pm and 5pm – 7pm
● Saturday: 10am – 12pm

This past Tuesday, the Council and I finalized language for the non-binding referendum that will appear on the ballot this November. On the financial figures presented in the survey, there are
supplemental project materials. Engineering and architectural firms specializing in restorations prepared the cost estimate reports for the property, and estimated tax implications were
developed by professional financial advisors employed by the Borough. If you’d like to take a look at these figures, you can find all of the supplemental documents at
https://www.bradleybeachnj.gov/home/pages/projects. I am confident in these estimates.

We have a wonderful, responsive community. Thanks again to all who have participated so far, and please be sure to take a few minutes to respond if you haven’t had a chance yet.

Keep checking in with our website and social media channels for updates!
