Ocean Ave Parking

Angled parking Ocean Ave is HEAD IN only.  Vehicles found backed into the angled spaces on Ocean Ave are in violation of Bradley Beach Local Ordinance 9-7 (pursuant to NJSA 39:4-145).

NOTE: The 5 numbered spaces on Ocean Ave that border Avon by the Sea are PAID SPACES.  Be sure to use the nearest pay station on Ocean Ave or the one on Evergreen Ave by Sylvan Lake. Or use https://www.mpay2park.com/.  Failure to do so could result in a violation being issued.

Do I have to pay to park on Ocean Ave?

Yes, you are required to pay for parking on the entire east side of Ocean Avenue and the easterly end of Bradley Blvd. Please refer to numbered marking to enter into Pay stations for payment. There are ten pay stations located on Ocean Avenue and one pay station at Sylvan Lake.

Hours:  8am to 7pm from the Saturday of the weekend before Memorial Day Weekend to the Sunday after Labor Day Weekend.

The cost is $1.50 per hour.

Please use off street parking if available during all snow emergencies.

REGULATIONS FOR SNOW PLOWING – ALTERNATE SIDE OF THE STREET PARKING

If your street runs EAST TO WEST: While snowing and prior to being plowed, parking is prohibited on the South Side of the street until the plowing of the South Side is complete. Once completed, parking is prohibited on the North Side of the street until the snow is plowed off the North Side. If the street runs NORTH to SOUTH: While snowing and prior to being plowed, parking is prohibited on the East Side of the street until the snow is plowed off the East Side. Parking is prohibited on the West Side of the street until the snow is plowed off the West Side.

SNOW REMOVAL

Sidewalks and Parking Lots: Snow and ice shall be removed from sidewalks and private parking lots within 24 hours after cessation of precipitation.

TRASH

Trash and Recycling should not be placed curbside during a snow emergency.

PLACING SNOW OR ICE INTO THE STREET (S) IS PROHIBITED

No person or other entity shall throw, place or deposit any snow or ice into or on any street in the Borough, and no owner, tenant or occupant shall cause or allow such throwing, placing or depositing or any snow or ice to remain in the street, being the intent and purpose of this provision to prohibit all such persons and entities from throwing, placing or depositing snow or ice which accumulated on the private property of adjoining sidewalks into the streets of the Borough.
