GRASS CLIPPINGS WILL NOT BE COLLECTED and SHALL NOT be placed at the curb at any time.

The Borough encourages you to participate in the Grass – Cut it and Leave it Program. By doing this you will:

Save time – You don’t have to empty your mower’s bag, no raking, no bagging, and no taking clippings to the street.
Use less water – lawn clippings contain water and leaving those clippings on the lawn retains moisture, therefore you water less, or not at all.
Use less fertilizer – lawn clippings contain nutrients. Leaving them on the lawn fertilizes your lawn, therefore you use less fertilizer or none at all.

We advise that you mow High! 2.5” – 3.5” is ideal for NJ. It saves moisture and shades out weeds.
